An Alternative Advent

This advent, I’m attempting (with a strong emphasis on the word, ‘attempt’!) to share a reflection here every day in the lead-up to Christmas. Each day I’ll share some lyrics from a song that I like - they’ll be a fairly eclectic mix, from more popular songs by the likes of Coldplay and Billie Eilish to indie artists like Gregory Alan Isakov and Woodkid.

Whilst the songs are not Christmas-themed, I’ll be using the lyrics as a starting point for pondering the Christmas story. (And each day I'll be adding songs to my Spotify playlist.)
